We pride ourselves on our friendly and helpful service and we are committed to putting in that extra effort to help you achieve the very special look you are trying to create. Anyone can sell you a wedding dress but it takes professionalism and hard work to make buying your gown the enjoyable experience it should be.

When you purchase a wedding dress from Avant Garde you will receive a service second to none, and we will advise you every step of the way,and when you've made your choice you can leave the rest to us. We have our own excellent in-house seamstress should alterations be necessary and we'll ensure that when you collect your gown it is beautifully presented and ready for your wedding day.

Nestled in the pretty market town of Tenterden in Kent our showrooms spread over two floors houses a large collection of wedding dresses for you to choose from. If we don't have exactly what you are looking for, we have a network of suppliers and designers available to us and going that extra mile is part of the service.

Designer Wedding Dresses

Our ranges of wedding gowns are from designer wedding dresses by Benjamin Roberts, White Rose, Victoria Kay and many more retailing from £500 and couture gowns by Kate Sherford. retailing from £1200. From time to time we do have exceptional discounted gowns starting at £100.00.

Designer Days

Throughout the year we host Designer Days. The designers send us their current collection to add to the wedding dresses we already stock and we invite our customers to come and try these beautiful dresses to help them make this important decision. We have to restrict these appointments to one hour as so many brides want to take up this wonderful offer. Appointments are on a first come first serve basis, so watch the web site for details.

Wedding Accessories

Wedding Accessories can make or break that special look and here at Avant Garde we offer all our brides a dedicated accessories appointment giving you the opportunity to try our selection of hand made tiaras, veils, shoes and jewellery.

Our vast selection of bridesmaid dresses and formal wear for your Groom to hire will enable you to coordinate your wedding party under one roof.

It doesn't finish there, after your special day we offer a professional dry cleaning service and boxing service for your wedding dress with prices from £110. Your wedding dress will be returned to you beautifully cleaned and boxed to ensure it stays looking as wonderful as did on your wedding day.
